Dr. 罗伯特。 压模 is an ophthalmologist who specializes in diagnosing, monitoring and treating patients with glaucoma. He is the former director of the UCSF 青光眼 Clinic. His research interests include methods of diagnosing and treating glaucoma early to prevent vision loss.

压模 earned his medical degree at State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. He then served as a physician in the Peace Corps for two years. He completed his residency in ophthalmology and a fellowship in glaucoma at Washington University in St. 路易.

压模 belongs to the American Academy of 眼科学 and received its Life Achievement Honor Award in 2008. He also is a member of the American Ophthalmological Society, American 青光眼 Society and Association for Research in Vision and 眼科学. He has served as chair of Prevent Blindness Northern California.

Once the nurse actually read my scheduling notes where I had specified my need for an eye exam she pointed out that the doctor does not do those and she told me I would need to reschedule. She did try to find another doctor who might be available to see me immediately but there was no one.
